Obituary of Charles Thompson

Charles Thompson, age 44 passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his home in Wright City, OK. He was born on February 11, 1975 in Idabel, OK. Charles was a 1994 graduate of Valliant high School. He and Nina Rothleutner were together for 12 years and were married on May 18, 2017 in DeQueen, AR.

Charles enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles. He worked as a millwright and could fix about anything. Charles was a Christian and had lived most of his life in McCurtain County.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Wyatt Harper; and his father, George Edward Thompson.

Charles is survived by his wife, Nina Thompson of the home; step-father, Roy L. Harper of Haworth, OK; sons, Joshua Thompson and Christopher Thompson both of Wright City, OK; daughters, Bruklyn Thompson of Hugo, OK, Brittani Thompson of Wright City, OK, Kelli Thompson of Broken Bow, OK, Tori Thompson of Climax, NC and Emma Thompson of Wright City, OK; brother, Richard Thompson and Angel of Alabama and his beloved grandson, Bentley Thompson of Wright City, OK; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the White Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Haworth Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the funeral home.
