I knew Charles and his brother Richard through my bestfriend and their cousin LaDyna Anne Bartlett. They were sweet ornery little guys. I know he will be missed by many. On behalf of myself and my family along with my 2 brothers Donny Goodman and Mitch Goodman we want you all to know how sorry we are and that we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Watching this tribute video brought back so many memories!! From when we 1st became family,, til these last hard weeks on his wife, kids,& soo many family and friends.. Charles didn’t meet a stranger,& he would help anyone that he could.. His passion in life was working on vehicles,& when his 1st born came into the world ,he suddenly had another passion,, his babies.. Not only his,but his nieces and his nephews,, but Charles was one of the most outgoing, person that I’d ever known.. He firmly believed in helping yourself,& then he would pour his heart n soul into it, or whatever you needed.. We never saw eye to eye on everything, but no one does, but regardless,we always had each other’s backs.. in gonna miss him teasing me for “not cooking “,, lol , I’m gonna miss him getting halfway across Tennessee and calling saying,”you gonna have my supper ready”,, when I didn’t even know he was on the way !! I’ll miss making sure that I always had an empty room,or couch, or something, even an air mattress, for him to sleep on,with his babies ,and Nina , or when him and Papa George would pop in, gonna miss him calling me when he was outta town working,& just needed to talk, get things off his chest.. Were gonna miss getting to go camping ,and swimming,& on and on ,& on, and I would never run outta things to say about this man.. He was kind giving,& soo many other positive things, but the one thing I always had the most respect for him for was the way he was such an amazing Daddy... And I’ll definitely miss being able to call him and explain what was going on with one of our vehicles,& he could tell us, what it was wrong, with the car or truck.. He made soo many amazing friends all over the USA,,but he was jsut the type of person that done it.. I could keep going and type for the rest of the evening, but I just wanted to share a few of the things that stick out in my mind.. Charles ,you’ll forever be missed,,& always loved along the way!! We love you ,, please watch over your babies and the rest of us family!! May you Rest Easy,& continue to watch over us,like you always have!!
