We knew Bobby through Brinkley auctions. He was a wonderful person. We had a 35 year old employee who passed away last year with cancer. he would call her and have heart to heart conversations with her. Even though he had never met her. It always pleased her to talk to Bobby. He was terrribly upset when we lost her on 4 th of July 2017. May it ease your mind to know that he touched so many lives. Prayers for the family and friends.

I did not know Bobby very well at all. I met him through Brinkley's Auction where my late husband Glen attended every month. We were eating at a restaurant that Bobby said had really good chicken fried steak. It really was. He made a lasting impression on me. My son Rusty, has taken over for his Dad and he really thought a lot of Bobby.
Times will be hard, but memories will help a lot.

Dear family,
My sincere condolences on your great loss. We too as a small community have lost a Hallmark of a person. I was not an ag student but I was a student at Idabel Public schools and the daughter of Mildred Campbell. Perhaps him knowing my family so well made him even closer to me as a wonderful teacher and officiating person in Idabel. I’ll always remember Mr. Wright. I’ve been away from Idabel since 1984. Came back to attend to my mother 7 years ago. As I attended church one day he recognized me and took me in as one of his own Kinfolk! What a wonderful filling to be remembered after al these years. Such a legacy.
Blessing and condolences,
Beth Pitts Trousdale

Love to all of Bobby's family. He never met a stranger and was one of the kindest men I've ever known. Bobby couldn't say "no" to a request for help, which is why everyone loved him. "God loves a cheerful giver/helper." He is with God now, no doubt in my mind. My husband, Wimp, and the Class of '68 will miss him.
Prayers for God to wrap His comforting arms around you, Andrea, and entire family.

Bob and I first met when he was doing his student teaching at Idabel. Standing out in my mind is once on a basketball trip to Ada, Bob, Peck Martin, Bob Wilmoth and I played dominoes until late into the night. All three of those men were special to me. Maybe we can play heavenly dominoes some day. RIP! My prayers for the family and his many, many friends.

Andrea and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Bobby during the times we worked together at Idabel High School. Lots of memories of Bobby up and down the halls of IHS.
One thing for sure, our friend was certainly a fighter.
Your sweet husband will be missed by many of us.
Prayers and hugs to all of you.

Bob was teaching Ag. Ed. at Idabel when I came home to Battiest to teach for a few years. My memories of Bob was of a guy who was always moving at a fast pace and was the first to volunteer for whatever task was at hand. He loved young people and was a positive influence on the lives of so many folks. He loved to watch his students compete for honors and you could bet that whatever success they had was done the right way. I extend my condolences to his family.

Mr. Wright was my ag teacher. He came back to Idabel Gray High School and stepped into Euland Collins shoes when Mr. Collins retired. That was around 1976. Bob was young and cocky. Most of us took to him immediately. Over the years I would run into Bob. I sit with him during a couple of Sunday school meetings at First Baptist. Sometimes he would come into my Pawn shop and "Shoot the Breeze". Us old Ag boys was good at that. Bob will be missed and my deepest condolences to his family. God Bless Bob's memory and all that had the good fortune of knowing him.
