Hal was just such a sweet person who helped in every way he could. I will sure miss seeing him at the Idabel Warrior Games because he was always there.

I worked with Hal in the early 90s. He was one of the good ones and will be truly missed. God speed my brother in blue.

Sorry for your lost. Last time I saw Harold Aunt Jean and I spent the night. They talked for a long time. It was nice. We went to Idabel Police Dept. and took pictures. Sorry I never got my copies from Aunt Jean. I just had my second surgery on my left side of my back Feb. 6th. I have a checkup wed. Feb. 28th at 1:30pm.. My son John had surgery on his left hand & fingers have pins in each finger with a brace. His driving is restricted too. He wanted to come too. Sorry we could not come. Sincerely Barbara

Meryl, I am so sorry it has been this long sents I contacted you about Harold, my medical condition restricts my movements from home. I can not tell you how much it has affected me about Hal's passing. I have lose a family member just as you have. Hal was part of my family and I will miss him as you will. Hal has pulled my ass out of the fire more times than I can remember when we worked the street. He was my family,my pArtner, my brother and I can not express how much I will miss him. I loved Hal as a brother, people can not understand how you become close to people in combat and on the streets, unless they experience it first hand. I lived with him and other closer than my family, that's why he was my family too. I loved Hal in a way others can not understand. I am so sorry it has taken me this long to contact you, but my medical problems restrict my movements from home. I will talk to you sometime this week. Hal was one hell of a cop and I am sure one hell of a soldier too. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss him for as long as I am here on this earth. Please forgive me for taking this long to respond. (Joe)

Hal was a great man and friend. Bruce enjoyed having him as a golf buddy. He will be sorely missed in this community.

My deepest sympathy to the Davis Family. Hal was a good man that I really had respect for. He was my neighbor on the next street over. I think he was a good officer that Idabel can always be proud of. I am deeply saddened over his passing. Heaven surely has gained a good man. May he rest in peace always. With Respect and sympathy, Don Britton and Family.
