Obituary of Anna Stephan

We celebrate the life of Anna Frazier Stephan, 81, whom went to be with her Lord on October 2, 2017 at Paris, TX. She joins her husband, Paul Stephan, Sr. in that heavenly realm and both will be reunited in their singing together once again. Anna was born on February 12, 1936 to Arthur Cornelius Frazier and Roseanna Brandy Frazier. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Madelyn Jessie, Mary McClure, Fannie LeSarge and brothers, Steven, Eli, Jimmy and David Frazier. She is survived by her only child and son, Paul “PeeWee” Jr. Stephan and his wife, Cheryl Jessie Stephan of Idabel, OK; brothers, James “Chun" Frazier of Indiahoma, OK and Benny Frazier of Idabel, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great- nephews and friends from all walks of life. Anna was well loved and liked by anyone who met her and did not know a stranger. She spent many years at the Idabel Wal-Mart Store and eventually retired from that store. Anna was a member of Grace Assembly in Idabel and loved her church family very much. She will be greatly missed. Anna attended Sequoyah schools as a teen. She met her future husband, Paul Sr., while both were living in Chicago, Illinois. They married in Chicago and moved to Idabel, OK with their toddler son. Anna and Paul, Sr. were well known in the gospel singing circuits as they loved to go to singings each weekend. She was also active in the Choctaw Senior groups in both Idabel and Broken Bow. Throughout the years she learned to paint and do pottery. During her younger days she was an avid basketball player. She enjoyed watching sports on TV and was an avid OU fan. She also enjoyed watching her many relatives and friends play in softball tournaments across Oklahoma and Texas.
