Obituary of Mary Dell Harvey Chapman

Mary Dell Harvey Chapman, age 84 passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Texarkana, TX. She was born on February 1, 1933 at Cooper, TX, the daughter of Jessie James and Dellie Formby Harvey. She was a homemaker. Mary enjoyed raising chickens, traveling and knitting. She was a member of the Idabel Church of God and a longtime resident of McCurtain County. Mary Dell was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; James Harvey, Orlen Harvey, Ray Harvey, Coy Harvey and Roy Harvey. Mary Dell leaves to cherish her memory her husband; John Chapman of the Goodwater Community, OK; her sons, Ricky Crowder and Harriet of Lebanon, OH, Defon Jesse Mergel Sr. of Idabel, OK and James R. Johnson and Renee of the Forest Grove Community, OK; daughters Glenda Crowder of Goodwater Community, OK, Edd Naniga and Dan of Camp Douglas, WI, Debi Kutak and Mark of the Goodwater Community, OK; her brother, Wylie Harvey of Tishomingo, OK; sisters, Dorothy Hulsey of Paris, TX, Doris Yarborough of Diana, TX, Lois Mullens of Diana, TX and Sharon Matthews of Sawyer, OK; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
