Obituary of Clifton Dale Fields

Clifton Dale Fields, age 84 passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Idabel, OK. He was born on June 2, 1933 in Idabel, OK, the son of Sellas Fields and Homa Ellen Kelly Fields. Dale was a long haul truck driver for many years. He was 32nd degree mason and a member of the Idabel Lodge. A veteran he served in the US Air Force. Dale was a lifelong OU Sooners football fan and had lived in the area his entire life. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Fields; brothers, James Fields and Glen Fields; and a sister, Nobie Alford. Dale is survived by his sons, Curtis Fields and Lester Fields both of Idabel, OK and Michael Fields of Nacogdoches, TX; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Stevens of Ft Worth, TX; sisters, Geneva Cockerham of Garvin, OK and Sharon McKeever of Valliant, OK; 3 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. No formal services will be held according to his wishes.
