Obituary of Laurence Barron

Laurence “Larry” Barron, 77, of Tom, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Tom. He was born April 23, 1930 at Klamath Falls, Oregon, the son of Jesus Barron and Iba Lois Smith. Laurence moved to McCurtain County in 1986 coming from California. He served our country in the United States Army and was affiliated with the Tom Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Imogene Barron in 2002; son, A.E. “Butch” Cummings; a brother, Jesse Barron. Laurence leaves to cherish his memory his sons and daughter-in-law, Ray E. Cummings of Tom, Laurence Nelson Barron Jr. of Manteca, California; Ghery Lee Barron of Modesto, California, Keith and Sandra McLain of Dekalb, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Wayne Harmon of Tom, Patricia Ann and Jack Wells of Idabel, Susan Oglesby of Idabel; special adopted daughters, Lucinda Morales and Barbara Adcock; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Jody Barron of Southern Pines, NC, Robert and Ruby Barron of Vista, California, Norris and Carolyn Camarena of Southern Pines, NC; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Bill Bevill of Brentwood, California, Gloria Barron of San Felipe, Mexico; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
