Obituary of Johnny Hankins

Johnny Ray Hankins, age 68 of Haworth, OK passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Idabel, OK. Johnny was born in Tom, OK on November 2, 1948, the son of Robert Henry and Louella Hilton Hankins. Johnny was a veteran of the US Army and served in the 101st Airborne during Vietnam. He worked for City of Idabel Street Dept. for over 30 years. He enjoyed collecting and welding junk iron and taking care of his beagle hounds. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Johnny loved spending time with his family and visiting and drinking coffee with everyone at the One Stop Store in Harris, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Frankie Hankins, James Hankins, Pete Hankins, Robby Hankins and his sister; Barbara Louise Hankins. Johnny is survived by his brothers, Bobby Hankins of Haworth, OK and Billy Hankins of the Redland Community, OK; several special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
