Obituary of Damon Blair Lewis

Damon Lewis, age 39 passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on July 8, 1977 in DeQueen, AR, the son of Glen Lewis and Sherry Turner Lewis. Damon was an avid sports fan, his favorite being football. He enjoyed being out in nature, walking, reading and loved taking care of his dog “Blue”. Damon was affiliated with Grace Assembly Church and lifetime resident of Idabel. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Mary Turner. Damon is survived by his father, Glen Lewis of California; mother, Sherry Lewis of Georgia; paternal grandparents, Harold and Allene Lewis of Idabel, OK; a brother, Landon Lewis of Idabel, OK; special nephews, Brandon Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Justin Lewis, John Loyd, Aaron Green and Ashton Reece; many other relatives and friends.
