Obituary of Betty Ledbetter

Betty Shirlene Ledbetter, age 75, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at her home in Idabel. She was born on August 16, 1941 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Claud and Laura Pohlman Martin. Betty was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed sewing, needle point and working in her garden. Betty loved shopping, whether she bought anything or not, watching westerns, holidays, celebrating her kid’s birthdays and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.W. Ledbetter; a sister, Loretta Bailey. Betty leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughters-in-law; Joseph Ledbetter of Idabel, Jewel Ledbetter and Lori of Idabel, Joshua Ledbetter and Nikki of Bordentown, NJ; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Eastep and Travis of Idabel, Beverly Coleman and Mark of Idabel; sisters and brother-in-law, Marilyn Post and Johnny of Idabel, Janice Parris of Tahlequah, Lena Neet of Tahlequah; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
