Obituary of Carl McDaniel

Carl McDaniel, age 81, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Idabel, OK. He was born on November 22, 1935 in Bokoshe, OK, the son of John and Mattie Martin McDaniel. Carl was a cattle buyer and horse trader. He was kind and generous and very outgoing, a man who would start a conversation with anyone and talk about anything. He enjoyed telling family stories and sometimes the details would change from time to time. Carl could also be known for his stubbornness which was very evident if you ever argued with him. Carl enjoyed playing dominoes and played in weekly tournaments at the Idabel Nutrition Center. He was a faithful member of the Idabel Church of God and had lived in McCurtain County most of his life. Carl loved his family very much and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Troy McDaniel; sister, Birdie Harger; and sisters-in-law, Helen McDaniel and Vicki McDaniel . Carl is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Shawn McDaniel and Reitha of Neosho, MO; daughter and son-in-law, Carlene White and David of Idabel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leonard McDaniel of the Forest Grove Community, Clarence McDaniel and LaJuan of Hugo, OK, and Hubert McDaniel and Karen of Idabel; sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine Hill and Vince of Eagletown, OK, Joyce Holt and Sonny of Denison, TX, and Ola Mae McDaniel of Eagletown, OK; his sugies, Reiawna, Sharei and Nason; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Radio Missions, P.O. Box 504, Neosho, MO 64850.
