Obituary of Daley Coy Woodall
Daley Coy Woodall passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at Idabel, OK at the age of 94. He was born at Rufe, OK on April 23, 1922, the son of George and Berta Smith Woodall. He and Bernice Murphy were united in marriage on September 30, 1948 at Rockwall, TX.
Dailey was a member of The Millerton Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II serving two years in the U. S. Army in the Philippine Islands. He worked for Boeing Aircraft on the B47 and B52 bombers in Wichita, KS.
He and Bernice owned and operated the Millerton Grocery Store. He enjoyed his cattle, ranching and liked to travel and camp.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents, 3 sisters, Lois Fern and Mabel, 3 brothers, Grady, Hurchel and Olen.
Daley leaves to cherish his memory; one daughter, Alice and Doyle Hightower, one son, Coy Woodall, numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; one special nephew (like a son), Michael Joe Murphy and wife, Faith; brother-in-law, Joe Murphy and wife, Fredda, Powderly, TX, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
