Obituary of Sarah Gail Coffey

Sarah Gail Coffey, 34, of Garvin passed away on Friday, July 6, 2007 at Texarkana. She was born December 20, 1972 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Eugene and Kathy Dunaway Gossett. Sarah Gail married Charlie John Coffey in Mt. Ida, Arkansas on February 5, 2000. Sarah Gail was the Home Economics Teacher at the Idabel High School for the last 5 years where her students truly loved her. She was a member of Montgomery County Fair Board, and loved spending time with her family, riding horses, and singing. Sarah Gail was an active member of “The Church” at Millerton. She had lived in this area for 10 years coming from Pencil Bluff, Arkansas. Sarah Gail was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ira and Faye Dunaway; and paternal grandparents, Seabern and Tola Gossett. Sarah Gail leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charlie John Coffey of the home; son, Rustin Cassidy Coffey of the home; daughters, Katelyn Jewell Coffey, Brookelyn Ann Coffey, and Lakelyn Sierra Coffey all of the home; her parents, Eugene and Kathy Gossett of Sims, Arkansas; sister, Jennifer Barrett of Sims, Arkansas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donald Gene and Barbara Jean Coffey of Garvin brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brent and Deb Coffey of Millerton, Vaughn and Tonya Horton of Ft. Towson, and Kelly Dawn and Jeremy Jordan of Garvin; nephews, Tyler Gossett and Dakota Barrett of Sims, Chris Fowler of Ft. Towson, Tony Maynard of Ft. Towson, Tommy Lee Payne of Durant; nieces, Stormie Dawson of Ft. Towson; many other relatives, loving friends and former students.
