Obituary of Zella Murphy

Zella L. Murphy, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Oklahoma City, OK. She was born in Olustee, OK on July 20, 1928. Zella was of the Baptist Faith and loved serving others. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a charter member of Fowlerville Chapter #516 and served as Worthy Matron in 1978. Zella was well known in the communities of Millerton and Valliant for her love of laughter, sense of humor and above all, service to her community and her love of children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Murphy Sr.; a son, Charles H. Murphy Jr.; and a daughter, Norma Gail Murphy. Zella is survived by; a daughter, Carolyn J Murphy of Oklahoma City, OK; a son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Pennie Murphy of Idabel, OK; a daughter-in-law, Romain Murphy of Oklahoma City, OK; granddaughter, Crystal Baustert and husband, Justin of Oklahoma City, OK; grandsons, Craig Murphy and wife, Suzanne of Phoenix, AZ and Randy Rogers of Choctaw, OK; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Murphy, Adrienne Baustert, Nolan Baustert, MaKenna Rogers and Torie Rogers; a sister, Earlene Roberts of Spokane, WA; a brother, Skip Smith of Spokane, WA; special friends, Janice Faye Wolfenbarger, Jimmy Lynn, Jim Hughes and Danny Witt; several other relatives and many friends.
