Obituary of Margaret Blake

Margaret Blake, age 81 of Idabel, OK passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Idabel, OK. She was born on August 10, 1935 in Idabel, OK, daughter of Cecil and Gladys Butler Stribling. Margaret married Charles Blake on January 24, 1954 in Idabel, OK. Margaret was a longtime member of the Idabel Country Club and enjoyed playing golf. When she was younger she like to paint. Margaret was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Idabel and was a lifetime resident. She was preceded in death by her parents. Margaret is survived by her husband, Charles Blake of the home; a son, Stewart Blake of Idabel, OK; a daughter and son-in-law, Celia and Jack Webb of Idabel, OK; and numerous friends. No formal services will be held. Margaret loved animals and because of this the family requests memorials be made in her honor to A.S.P.C.A. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) at www.aspca.org/donate.
