Obituary of Brenda Diane Voss

Brenda Diane Voss, age 69, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her home in the Redland Community, OK. She was born in Atoka, OK on May 11, 1947, the daughter of Monk and Juanita Cathey Hall. Diane was a 1963 graduate of Heavener High School. She married Johnnie Wayne Voss on June 30, 1972 in Idabel, Oklahoma. Diane began her working career at the Kelwood sewing factory in Idabel. She then worked for the Palace Drug Store for several years and later retired from the McCurtain Memorial Hospital Pharmacy in 2012. Dianne was affiliated with the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Diane was a loving and devoted wife, mother and “Nana” and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jackie Hall; sister-in-law, Wanda Hall; brother-in-law, James Voss; and a nephew, Billy Payne. Diane leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Johnnie Voss of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Catherine Voss of Idabel, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Lynn Bivings of Idabel, OK; brothers and sister-in-law, Butch Hall of Midwest City, OK, Ronnie and Cathy Hall of the Redland Community, OK; sisters and brother-in-law, Dale and Larry Payne of Atoka, OK and Gale Voss; sister-in-law, Barbara Hall of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Shaylea Collier and Donald Tolliver, Kelsey Dye and Michael, Cheyanne Bivings, Olivia Voss, Jayden Jackson, Victoria Voss and Sarah Voss; 3 great-grandchildren and another one soon to be; several other relatives and many friends.
