Obituary of Benny May

Benny H. May, age 73, passed away Monday, July 2nd, 2007, at Idabel, Okahoma. He was born June 30, 1934 at Haworth, Oklahoma, to Edna Myers May and Benjamin Wright May. Benny, popularly known to his friends and co-workers as “Spider” served his country in the Army for four years. Upon his return to McCurtain County he traveled the world as a pipeliner for more than 50 years. He enjoyed his work and the many people he worked with over the years. Benny was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Myers May, his father, Benjamin Wright May, and a brother, Eddie May. Benny is survived by a nephew, Eddie “Pistol” May of Haworth; a niece, Teresa and her husband Tim Landon of Dallas; a sister-in-law, Shelba May of Dallas; a faithful friend and neighbor, Jimmie Roberson of Idabel; and a host of friends.
