Obituary of Tim Johnson

Tim Johnson, age 76 passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at his home in Moon, OK. He was born on April 14, 1940 in Bokhoma, OK, the son of Willie and Gertrude Watson Johnson. Tim worked as a mechanic for McCurtain County District #2 for over 20 years before retiring. Prior to that he worked in the log woods for several years. Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren whether it was riding 4 wheelers with them or cooking for them. Tim was a member of the Haworth Church of Christ and a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 infant children; and his brothers, Cleabert Johnson and Clem Johnson. Tim is survived by his wife, Wyota Sue Johnson of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Danell Johnson of Moon, OK; grandchildren, Sarah Johnson and Tanya Johnson of Moon, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
