Obituary of Jack Dumont

Jack Dumont, age 92 passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Veteran's Center in Muskogee, OK. He was born on June 28, 1924 at Bokhoma, OK, the son of William "Bud" Dumont and Maggie Edwards Dumont. Jack was a WWII veteran, serving in the US Army as an MP. He worked as an electrician at the Navy shipyard in California for several years. Jack was a lifetime member of VFW Post 777. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John "Doyle", Harlan, James Dale "JD", Cecil and Syble; and his daughter, Jeanne Dumont. Jack is survived by his daughter, Karen Dumont of Salem, OR; brother, Jerry Dumont of Hochatown, OK; his special companion, Flora Bell of Idabel, OK; a special friend, William England of Idabel, OK; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
