Arlene Mae Schmidt, 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, formerly of Idabel, Oklahoma, died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on December 1, 2016, at the Peachtree Palliative Care Hospital in Fort Smith, AR.

She committed her life to knowing and living by the Bible and praying for each member of her family daily.
