Obituary of Bill Bryant

Bill "Ole Okie Gambler" Bryant, age 69 of Idabel, OK passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Paris, TX. He was born on July 10, 1947 in Garvin, OK, the son of George and Emily Box Bryant. Bill was a heavy equipment operator and loved operating a bulldozer. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and poker. Bill was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and was a lifetime McCurtain County resident. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Albert Bryant; and a nephew, Jr. Bryant. Bill is survived by his wife and best friend of 27 years, Sherry Parmer of Idabel, OK; son, Shane Powers of Idabel, OK; daughters, Rayanne Bryant of Idabel, OK, Ann Bryant Thomas of Valliant, OK, Skeeter Bryant Fells of Broken Bow, OK and Jan Bryant of Broken Bow, OK; a brother, George "Dutch" Bryant of Garvin, OK; sister, Sue Carter of Garvin, OK; grandchildren, Elijah Powers, Mana'Ya Powers, Ka'Liyah Whitfield, RyLeigh Thomas, Whitney Adkins, Bradlea Christian and Gary Christian; several special nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
