Obituary of Dylan Giles Hill

Dylan Giles Hill, 24, passed from this life on October 28, 2016. Dylan was born October 25, 1992, to Buck and Natalie Hill. Dylan was a 2011 graduate of Idabel High School, and he graduated with a BS of Business Management/Administration from the University of Ozarks, Clarksville, Arkansas. He was an award-winning collegiate athlete in skeet and trap shooting. After graduation, he became an executive director with the family business, SETCO, where he started as a young teenager working and learning the business from the bottom up. Dylan had such passion for whatever endeavors he encountered. His love of hunting, fishing, flying and many adventures that took him across the world was surpassed only by his love of family and friends, many of whom joined him on these unforgettable adventures. Dylan embraced life and overcame obstacles by never giving up or stopping short of reaching his goals. Dylan’s greatest achievement was accepting Christ as his personal savior. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” Dylan was a compassionate young man and amazing son and brother, with a kind manner and generosity of heart, mind and spirit, who will continue to live on in the memories of his family and many beloved friends. Dylan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Giles Hill, Jr., his maternal grandfather Jerry Burris, and step-grandfather B.D. Mooring. Dylan’s memory will be forever cherished by his parents, Buck and Natalie Hill, sister, Brennan Hill and her boyfriend Mitchell Bayer, Dylan’s girlfriend Grasyn Langley, grandmothers Bettye Hill, Sherry L. Burris and Sherry C. Burris, grandfather Thomas Sullens, and his faithful, and ever present companion, Kiya. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues are left to treasure his memory and legacy as well. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dylan’s memory to the Jones Learning Center, University of the Ozarks, Clarksville, AR, https://www.ozarks.edu/giving/makeagift.asp.
