Obituary of Troy Dean Harkey II

Troy Dean “T.J.” Harkey II, beloved son and brother, passed away at 11:34 on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Troy was born on July 5, 1985 on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. As a child and young adult, he had the opportunity to live in many places such as Springfield, MO, Altamonte Springs, FL, Tyler, TX, Tsurugashima, Japan, and Williamsport, IN. He was a very kind, outgoing and personable young man. He enjoyed music, playing his guitars, art, reading and spending time with his family. He also liked being outdoors, fishing, barbecuing on the grill and working with his hands. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sheila Harkey, and grandparents, Jessie and Ella Johnson, all of Idabel. Survivors include his parents, Troy and Sandy Harkey of Williamsport, IN; brother, Lucas Harkey of Williamsport, IN; grandfather, Merrill Harkey of Idabel; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and long-time, girlfriend, Jamie Jones. Troy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
