Obituary of Glen Snider

Glen Snider, age 71 of Idabel, OK passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Richardson, TX. He was born on February 7, 1945 in Broken Bow, OK, the son of Glennon and Ruby Pearl Compton Snider. Glen was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved spending time with his family. Glen was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son Shelby Davis Snider. Glen is survived by his longtime significant other, Lahoma Whitehead of Idabel, OK; daughters, Shantel Snider of Richardson, TX and Stephanie Snider of Broken Bow, OK; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Cheryl Snider of Eagletown, OK and Rick and Patti Snider of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Caleb Brooks of Tulsa, OK, T'Anna Talley of Garvin, OK and Crandle and Jayci Talley of the Hollycreek Community, OK; step-grandchildren, Shane and Rhonna Tabor and Jerry and Haley Tabor; great-grandchildren, Raylynn Strawn, Tessa Jo Talley, Shon Tabor, Sadie Tabor and Isaiah Tabor; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
