Obituary of Ludie Roberts

Ludie Mae Roberts, age 90 passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Millerton, OK. She was born on July 13, 1926 in Kay, OK, the daughter of Tete and Bessie Lela Lewis Williamson. Ludie Mae was a homemaker. She was a talented quilter and made many quilts for family and friends. Ludie Mae enjoyed word search puzzles and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Spirit Rock Church and had lived most of her life in McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert Roberts; sons, George Roberts and Hubert Alvin Roberts; a granddaughter, Melinda Roberts Sharp; and a brother, Mack Williamson; and a special friend, Faye Capps. Ludie Mae is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Reggie Smith of Millerton, OK and Regina and Jimmey Capps of Ringold, OK; sons and daughters-in-law, Elvin and Sharon Roberts of Wright City, OK, Bill and Doris Roberts of Wright City, OK, James and Sandra Roberts of Valliant, OK and Kenneth and Earnestine Roberts of Millerton, OK; a brother, Ike Williamson of Valliant, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Annie Bledsoe of Idabel, OK, Faye and Henry Clark of Valliant, OK and Jane and Booger Crosby of Wright City, OK; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Louise Coffey, Pat Farris, Marie Hack, Wanda Johnston, JoNell Fields and Pat and Gary Smith; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
