Obituary of Larry Adams

Larry Adams, age 75, of Idabel, OK passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Texarkana, TX. He was born on March 27, 1941 in Dallas, TX. Larry was a 1959 graduate of Celeste High School in Celeste, TX. Larry was a veteran of the US Marines where he served in Viet Nam. An Avid outdoorsman he loved to fish and hunt. He was a Mason, a member of the Choctaw Baptist Church and had lived in McCurtain County for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl Adams and Nell Woods Smith. Larry is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Theresa Adams of Springfield, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Marilee Adams of Garvin, OK, Brenda and Chad Halverson of Tennessee and Debby Adams of Kelos, WA; brother and sister-in-law, Hal and Lori Adams of Terrell, TX; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Anthony of Dallas, TX and Wanda and Johnny Kipley of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; his best friend, Ted Stanford; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
