Obituary of Arthur Riley

Arthur Lewis Riley Jr. (Buddy), age 63, of Pleasant Hill community departed this earth on, August 29, 2016 at his home. He was born the son of Arthur Lewis Riley Sr. (Big Buddy) and Ruby Evelyn Sharp Riley on February 27, 1953 Buddy knew his heavenly father. He lived a good honest life, always loved spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and doing odd jobs with his work crew. He loved watching his western and Beverly Hillbilly shows with his dog Killer. On February 27, 2001, he married his wife, Tamara Diana Dearing Riley. They lived in Celeste, Texas, but have been in the Pleasant Hill community for 14 years. Between the two they have 6 kids, 10 grandkids and 1 great-grandchild. His presence will be greatly missed by his wife of 19 years, Tamara Riley of the home; daughters, Stephanie Blevins and wife Cynthia Toy of Las Vegas, NV, Melissa Riley of Fort Worth, TX, Michelle and Husband Clinton Taylor of Pleasant Hill, Cassandra Davidson of Pleasant Hill, Kimberly Riley of Pleasant Hill; one son, Kristopher Riley of the home; grandkids, Brandon Crumpton, Westen Quintal, Cody Blevins, Dakota Blevins, Angel Taylor, Justise Taylor, Kurt Taylor, Dominick Taylor, Kaitlyn Smith and Joie Smith; two sisters, Barbara Kirby of Caddo Mill, TX and Katie Pendergrass of Commerce, TX. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents; Big Buddy Riley and Ruby Riley; his first wife, Bonnie Sue (Jones) Riley; great-grandson, Hunter Lane Blevins; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Kirby and Kenneth Pendergrass. “The world will be different without him, but he would want us to go on.” We love you, Daddy/Papaw Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016, graveside at the Tom Cemetery. Interment will follow at the Tom Cemetery.
