Obituary of Linda Williams

Linda Williams, age 56 of Idabel, OK passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Plano, TX. She was born on July 27, 1960 in Idabel, OK. She was a 1978 graduate of Idabel Gray High School. Linda was an LPN and she worked as a nurse at Tyson Foods for 22 years before retiring in 2009. Linda loved to read, especially her daily reading of the bible. Among some of her other favorites were historical novels and books about the Amish. She also enjoyed fishing, working puzzles, game shows and spending time with her family. Linda was a member of the Grace Assembly Church in Idabel and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her fathers, Calvin Williams and Jesse Blackerby. Linda is survived by her mother Lora Etta Blackerby of Idabel; sister, Claudette Boyer and Bob of Davenport, FL; nieces and nephews, Richard and Pasha Palmer and Lesa and Eric McManus all of Idabel and Kim and Mike Hestand of Sanger, TX; great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan McManus, Alexus Lee, Ryleigh Hestand, Michael Palmer and Korigan Palmer; several other relatives and many friends.
