Obituary of Nadya Green

Nadya Green, age 86 of Idabel, OK passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Arlington, TX. She was born on February 11, 1930 in Idabel, the daughter of Arthur Stephen Drake and Barbara Perrin Drake. Nadya was very good at working with the public and she worked at several area businesses including Earnheart's Photography, The State Theatre, The Book Exchange, Video Haus, The Finishing Touch, City Drug and most recently Fred's Pharmacy. Nadya loved visiting with her customers and many became friends. Nadya was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Idabel of which her grandparents were charter members. She enjoyed reading, taking drives and was a nature lover. Nadya was a lifetime resident of the Idabel area. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Len F Green; and her maternal grandparents, NP Perrin and Dessa. Nadya is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janine and Bobby Gore of Arlington, TX; her son, Kevin Green of Idabel; numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, The Museum of the Red River or the Forest Heritage Center.
