Obituary of Charles Edward Sharp

Charles Edward “Charlie” Sharp, age 61, passed away on July 14, 2016 at Valliant. He was born May 12, 1955, in Idabel, OK, the son of Edgar Lee and Opal Margaret Anderson Sharp. Charlie was a skilled carpenter. He had lived in McCurtain County all his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Sharp; brother, Eddie Lee Sharp; and a sister, Frances Lucille Mooney. Charlie is survived by; his brother and sister-in-law, Freddie and Marsha Sharp of Muldrow, OK; sisters and brother-in-law, Juanita and Tim Lay of Tulsa, Ok. and Lois Sells of Valliant, Ok.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016, graveside at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel, with Bro. Bob Thornburg officiating. Interment will follow in Denison Cemetery.
