Obituary of Mary Price

Mary Price, age 83, of Idabel, OK passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1933 in Tom, OK, the daughter of Homer and Callie Dodson Watson. She married William “Bill” L. Price on August 15, 1952 at Texarkana, TX. Mary was a homemaker. She was an avid genealogy researcher who wrote several books on family lines. She enjoyed cooking, reading and visiting with genealogy cousins on the internet. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church of Idabel, a founding member of the Idabel Chapter of the DAR and also a member of the genealogy club. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Glen Watson, Hoyt Watson, Doyle Watson, Earl Watson, and Bob Watson; sisters, Shirley Watson and Pat Watson Reid Delpoas; several dear nieces and nephews. Mary is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Janice Price of Idabel, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and James Smith of Sawyer, OK and Judy and Leon McCoy of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Chrissy Stevenson Miller, Jordan Stevenson, Kenneth Price Jr., Kyle Price, and Rachel Cherry; great-grandchildren, Roxy Miller, Sinjin Miller, Remington Miller, Sevi Miller, Abby Stevenson, Ally Stevenson, Jackson Cherry, and Micah Cherry; other relatives and a host of friends.
