Obituary of Greg Ishcomer

Greg Ishcomer, age 69, of Idabel, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Plano, TX. He was born on July 2, 1946, the son of Clayton and Louise Hicks Ishcomer. Greg retired from Idabel Public Works after 26 years of service and enjoyed his time working there. He liked antiques and tinkering on things. Greg was a member of the Choctaw Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Cecelia Ishcomer. Greg is survived by his wife, Jacque Ishcomer of Idabel; son, Greg Ishcomer of St. Cloud, MN; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane L. Ishcomer and Don Johnson of Idabel, OK and Tara and Wesley Hopson of Broken Bow, OK; step-daughter, Stacey Chapnick Chesher, and husband, Scott, of Leesville, LA; step-son, Robby Chapnick and husband, Jon, of Galveston, TX; grandchildren, Gage Hopson, Tyler Ishcomer, Kameron Ishcomer, Grant Ishcomer, and Ava Ishcomer; step-grandchildren, Drew Chesher, and wife, Anne Marie, and Abby Chesher; brothers, Bob Hicks of Idabel, OK, Chuck Ishcomer of AZ, and Earl Ishcomer of IL; sister, Patsy and Michael Pilant of Broken Bow; other relatives and many friends.
