Obituary of Charles Grant

Charles L. Grant, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2007. He was born on September 5, 1922. Charles served in WWII and was a Prisoner of War by the Germans for eight months. He was a dry cleaner for 42 years. Charles is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Grant and Ariminta Grant, of Idabel, OK. He was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters, all of whom preceded him in death. They included: Lola Margaret Isom and her husband, J.D. Isom, Raymond O. Grant and his wife, Mary, their son Raymond O. Grant Jr. and his wife, Patricia Grant, infant sister Lallie May Grant, Roberta Grant, Jacob Benjamin Grant, Gordon O. Grant and his wife, Mayme Grant, Eunice O. Grant and his wife, Lois Grant. Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Juanita Grant; son, Tom Grant and his wife Nancy; two grandchildren, Zachary and Taylor; nephews and nieces, George and Sylvia Grant, Frances and C.D. King, Mary Louise and Doug Williams, John and Nelda Grant, Phillip and Diane Grant, Charles Wayne and Gail Grant; many cousins; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
