Obituary of William David Burns

William David Burns, age 52, passed away on April 25, 2016 in Texarkana, TX. He was born on December 28, 1963, in Jackson County, Mo., the son of Otto H. and Joan C. Hendricks Burns. He was a fan of Nascar Racing and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Will is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Hope Burns of Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law, Chantail Burns and Jarrod McElhaney of Texarkana, Arkansas, Keisha and Walt Mullins of Linn, Missouri ; brother and sister-in-law, George and Patty Burns of the Pollard community; sisters, Sherrie Burns Harkrider and Billy of the Pollard community and Bobbie Salyer of Stevenville, Texas; special friends, Betty and DeWayne Cole; 4 grandchildren, Brexton and Jaxton Burns of Texarkana and Alexander and Elizabeth Burns of Virginia; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Pollard Cemetery in the Pollard community, with Bro. Jimmy Smalling officiating. Interment will follow in Pollard Cemetery.
