Obituary of Shirlene Loucks

Shirlene Loucks, 64, of the Goodwater Community passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at her home. She was born in the Goodwater Community on March 3, 1943, the daughter of Lee and Delcie Purcell Whiteman. Shirlene married Al Loucks in Oklahoma City on January 21, 1961. Shirlene was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and taking care of her flower garden. She was affiliated with the Haworth Assembly of God Church and was a lifetime resident of the Goodwater Community. Shirlene loved spending time with her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Whiteman; a son, Brandon Loucks; twin infant daughters, Connie and Ronnie; a granddaughter, Katelyn Loucks; and a brother, Jerry Whiteman. Shirlene is survived by her husband, Al Loucks of the home; her mother, Delcie Whiteman of the Goodwater Community; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Janet Loucks of the Redland Community; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Jimmy Harris of the Goodwater Community, Annette and Troy Bullard of Haskell, Oklahoma, Karen and Keith Donaldson of the Goodwater Community, and Kristy Loucks of Idabel; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Brenda Whiteman, and Franklin Whiteman all of the Goodwater Community; a sister, Irene Whiteman of the Goodwater Community; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
