Obituary of Heath Graf

Heath Dylan Graf, age 42, passed from this life into the arms of his Heavenly Father on April, 7, 2016 at his home in Richardson, TX, surrounded by his loving family. Heath was born on November 27, 1973 in Calgary, Canada, the son of Bob and Maureen Graf. He lived with his family in Dallas, TX, Stavanger, Norway and Jakarta, Indonesia and graduated from Jakarta lnternational High School in 1992. Heath came back to the United States to attend college and later graduated with a degree in computer science from Biola University in La Mirada, California. Heath spent a year traveling with a small team in North Africa witnessing as they traveled throughout Morocco and Tunisia. He came back to reside in the Dallas area where he met his beautiful wife, Brandi Thomas, at the Bent Tree Fellowship Church singles group in 1998. He married Brandi, the love of his life, on February 26, 2000. Heath was truly a man of God and loved sharing the gospel with people whom he came in contact with all over the world. He and his wife, Brandi, and their three daughters lived in North Africa for 7 years doing the Lord's work, before returning to the Dallas area in December of 2014, when Heath was diagnosed with brain cancer as a result of a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumor. Heath was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alexander and Johanna Graf; his maternal grandparents, Fred and Hazel Fausak; and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Thomas. Heath is survived by his loving wife, Brandi, and his three daughters, Erin, Carys, and Sophia Graf of the home; his parents, Bob and Maureen Graf of Carrollton, Texas; brother, Paul Graf and wife, Erica, (Rosalind, Alex, Garrett and Jennifer) of Monroe, Washington; sister, Megan Tribe and husband, Kevin, (Lily and Jacob) of Vancouver, Canada; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lewis and Tina Foshee-Thomas of ldabel; brother-in-law, Cory Thomas and wife, Melissa, (Hunter, Rip and Rylan) of Maud, Texas; step brothers-in-law Tony Kilburn and wife, Siglenda, (Reed and CheyAnn) of Holly Creek, and Dustin Taylor (Natalie) of Nash, Texas; and also a large extended family in Canada and the US, including several aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers and sisters in Christ from all over the world.
