Obituary of Polly Wright

Polly Wright, age 66, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 in Paris, TX. She was born on August 3, 1949 in Redland County, OK, the daughter of Jim and Alene Pulte Mathews. Polly was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family. She was an avid outdoors people who liked to hunt and fish and go camping. She was a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University and had lived in McCurtain County all of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Mathews; brother, Rex Mathew; and sisters, Oleta Boaldin and Linda Walker. Polly is survived by her mother, Alene Mathews of Idabel; son, Jerry Wright Jr. of Haworth, OK; brothers, Paul Mathews of Gladwater, TX and Thomas Mathews of White Oak, TX; sisters, Joan Ferguson and Melva McCutcheon, both of Idabel, Ann Smith of Meridian, MS, and Gena Barnett of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Wittney Wright and Stormie Wright, both of Haworth, OK; several nephews and nieces; many other relatives and friends.
