Obituary of Robert Wayne Jones

Robert Wayne Jones Sr., age 73 passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016. He was born on December 29, 1942 in Broken Bow, OK, the son of Arlie Thomas Jones and Loretta Baxter Jones. Wayne married his wife Sharon on March 20, 1978 in Clarksville, TX. Wayne worked in law enforcement for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Wayne enjoyed talking to people and never met a stranger. He liked going to the casino and Wal Mart if for no other reason than to just visit with people. Wayne was raised in the Pentecostal Faith and had lived most of his life in McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his father, Arlie Thomas Jones. Wayne leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sharon of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Wayne Jones Jr. and Kendra of Garvin, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Beckye Elaine Ashlock and Brian of Valliant, OK and Susan LeaAnn Hunkapiller and Jesse of Ray City, GA; his mother, Loretta Jones of Bell Gardens, CA; grandsons, Brayden Jones, Cameron Jones, Spencer Jones, Collin Jones, Michigan Ashlock, Jerry Wayne Hunkapiller, Jesse Hunkapiller Jr.; Paw Paw's girl, Brookelyne Ashlock; brothers, Bobby Jones of Sevier County, Utah and Lloyd Thomas Jones and Debbie of Menifee, CA; sisters, Ruth Ann Lopez and Donna Jones both of Bell Gardens, CA; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
