Obituary of Jim Crawford

James Michael "Jim" Crawford, age 69, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on November 12, 1946 in Fostoria, Ohio, the son of John and Ruth Crawford. Jim was a veteran of US Army. He was retired from construction and most recently had been working as a security guard. Jim loved his horses and also enjoyed remodeling his home. He was an avid reader and was a member of the Grace Place International Church. Jim had made his home in Idabel for the last 15 years coming from Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Crawford of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Anita Crawford of Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Bob Sparks, Ann and Steve Dell and Susie Harris, all of Ohio; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Grace Place International Church, www.graceplaceintl.org.
