Obituary of Horace Hurst

Horace Hurst, age 80 of Tom, OK passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Texarkana, TX. He was born on December 18, 1935 in DeKalb, TX, the daughter of Jess and Hazel Hurst. Horace was a retired butcher having worked several years for Safeway and Wal Mart stores. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was affiliated with the Tom Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Margie Hurst; sons, Bobby Hurst and Marty Hurst; and brothers, Johnny Hurst and Lloyd Hurst. Horace is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Kim Hurst of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law, Jewel Stone of Tom, OK; grandchildren, Chris, Leif, Kristie, Kateena, Bobby, Hope and Grace; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Cole, London, Ryker, Kaylee, Isabella and Hayden; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
