Obituary of Retha B Johnson

Retha Johnson, age 79, of Idabel, passed away in Texarkana, TX on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was born on January 7, 1937 in Foreman, AR, the daughter of Ellis and Opal Morphew Honnoll. Retha was a 1954 graduate of Winthrop High School. Retha enjoyed sewing, fishing, gardening and also liked to go dancing. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ and was a lifetime resident of the area. Retha was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, J.B. Johnson, in 2010. Retha leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Dickie and Amber Johnson of Idabel; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Gregory Smith and Sharon and Duane Birdsong all of Idabel; brother, Danny Honnoll of Tushkahoma; grandchildren, Kyle and Jacque Batson, Shawn and Kerri Clampet, Clay and Dawn Hattabaugh, Lindsay Clampet Clark, Cole and Rachel Hattabaugh and Kodie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Blakely, Laney, Kyler, Zayne, Kynli, Payton, Clinton, Westin, and Addison; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
