Obituary of Billy Wayne Johnson

Billy Wayne Johnson, age 79, of Idabel, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 7, 2016. He was born on June 22, 1936 in Eagletown, OK, the son of Jim B. and Katie Hadley Johnson. Billy Wayne, along with his brother with whom he enjoyed working, owned and operated Johnson Brothers Meat Processing for over 40 years. He was a hard worker and avid hunter. He liked going to the sale barn and working on his ranch with his cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Johnson; and a brother, J.B. Johnson. Billy Wayne leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Johnette Johnson, of the home; son, Jimmy Johnson of Idabel; stepson, David and Teressa Finch; daughters, Darla Johnson of Ft. Worth, TX, Suzanne Cline of Shawnee, OK; step-daughters, Janine Carter of Broken Bow, and Michelle and Terry Walker of Idabel; grandchildren, Tahnee, Jessica, Dace, Alan, Amanda, Alicia, John, Rachel, Austin and Savannah; great-grandchildren, Kason, Athan, Payton, Jett, Denna, Jacob, Haley, Dayten, Madelyn, Macie, Makenzie, and Chris; sisters, Pauline Taylor of Tom and Jane Dingess of Idabel; mother of his children, Glenda Johnson of Idabel; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
