Obituary of Arnold Eugene McNeal

Arnold Eugene "BahBah" McNeal, age 75 passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on December 6, 1940 in Harris, OK, the son of JB and Opal McNeal. He married the love of his life, Nancy Durham on November 4, 1962 and spent the next 53 wonderful years together. Arnold and Nancy had made their home in Idabel since 1972. Arnold worked for Latex Pipeline Co. He was a partner in the Triple M Construction Co. and later became a maintenance foreman for Fluor Daniels. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his produce with many. Arnold was a member of the Idabel HCE group and won many blue ribbons at the county fair for his vegetables and canning. He loved attending family reunions, playing pitch and was a serious moon and 42 player. Arnold was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church where he played the harmonica. He was preceded in death by his parents, JB and Opal McNeal; mother and father in-law, Owen and Pearl Durham; a brother, Jerry McNeal; and a brother-in-law, Steve Williams. Arnold is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Nancy McNeal of the home; his children, Brad McNeal and wife, Pam and Kim McNeal Cannady and Joe Frunk all of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Ashlynn McNeal, MaKenzie Mussett, Austin Cannady, Jeff Davis, July Stewart, Madison Cantrel and Blue McNeal; great-grandchildren, Zayliegh, Chad and RJ Ashalintubbi, Makayla and Teghen Cantrel, Dax and Carson Davis, Taylor and Treyson Stewart; a brother, Hugh McNeal and wife, Pam of Bennington, OK; and a sister, Sandy Williams of Oklahoma City; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
