Obituary of CD King

Clyde Douglas "C.D." King of Idabel, passed away November 11, 2015 at the age of 77. He was born January 8, 1938 in Idabel, OK, the son of Clyde and Offie King. A lifetime resident of Idabel, C.D. married Frances Grant on March 4, 1958. C.D. retired at an early age from the Oklahoma State Highway Department in order to enjoy ranching, hunting, roping, his dogs and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow in Boy Scouts; he was a Master Mason of 53 years and a member of both Idabel and Valliant Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. C.D. will be missed by a host of family and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Virginia Ann Hurn and Barbara King. He is survived by his loving wife, Frances of 57 years, one daughter Kelly Donaldson and husband Chock of Idabel and one son, Kirk King of Garvin; grandchildren, Kody Donaldson and wife Kim, Kolt Donaldson, Kyle Coffman and wife Jessica, Jandi Caudle and husband Scott, and Rope King; great grandchildren, Kyree Donaldson, Brett and Rainey Coffman, and Sawyer Caudle; along with numerous other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Waterin Hole Cowboy Church, 3168 Farmers Hill Road, Garvin, OK 74736.
