Obituary of Sylvia Littleton

Sylvia Littleton, age 46 of Idabel passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at her residence. She was born on November 27, 1964 in Oklahoma City. Sylvia enjoyed shopping, riding 4 wheelers and fishing with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy and OU Sooner fan. Sylvia loved spending time with her family and close friends, especially her nieces and nephews. She was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray B. Littleton; and a nephew, Justin Todd Wells. Sylvia leaves to cherish her memory her mother and step-father, Betty and Gayle Shockley of Garvin; brothers, Marshall L. Littleton and Gaylon Shockley both of Idabel and Orion Shockley and wife, Cayla of Valliant; sisters, Rosemary Dean and husband, Rick of Idabel, Patricia Shockley of Broken Bow, Becky Parsons and husband, Scott of Idabel and Amber Wise of Broken Bow; nephews, Thomas Wells and wife, Jessica, Chris Parsons, Parker Parsons, Robbie Spanke, Patrick Autry, Kirk Autry and Clay Wise; nieces, Brandie Williams and husband, Robert, Joshalynn Parsons, Summer Wise; great-nephew, Nathan Todd Williams; great-nieces, Isabel Grace Williams, Emma Spanke and Audrey Beth Parsons; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the White Family Chapel with Rev. Elwayne Schaeffer officiating. Interment will follow at Moran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the McCurtain County Relay for Life.
