Obituary of Betty Jo Gibson

Betty Jo Gibson, age 77 of Broken Bow, OK passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Idabel, OK. She was born on April 29, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of James and Mandy Davis Dunn. Betty Jo had lived in Broken Bow since 1989, moving from Oklahoma City. Betty Jo was a homemaker. She enjoyed making jewelry and doing arts and crafts. Betty Jo was an avid reader of her Bible and was affiliated with the Victory Life Church in Broken Bow, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Danny Gibson. Betty Jo is survived by sons and a daughter-in-law, David Gibson of Broken Bow, OK and Leslie and Cathy Gibson of Lexington, OK; daughter, Janice C. Dunn of Broken Bow, OK; brothers, Harold Dunn of Broken Bow, OK, Jimmy Dunn and Larry Dunn, both of Oklahoma City; a sister, Alby Diffenbaugh of Meeker, OK; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel with Bro Jimmy Jeter officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at White Family Funeral Home
