Obituary of Ella Mae Fields

Ella Mae "Elaine" Fields, age 82 of Garland, TX passed away peacefully on September 24, 2015 at Mesquite, TX. She was born on January 12, 1933 in Caney, OK, the daughter of Paul and Opal Lane. Elaine was a homemaker. She enjoyed listening to country music, eating barbeque as well as watching barbeque cook offs on TV. Elaine was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lester Fields in 2010. Elaine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Roger Hammack of Mesquite, TX; her son, Tommy Joe Fields of Garland, TX; grandchildren, Jason West, Justin West, Kayla Fields, Ryan Hammack and Brandi Chappell; great-grandchildren, Haylen West, Ethan West, Hunter Hammack, Austin Hammack and Ethan Hammack; several other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the White Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
