Obituary of Sonia Magar

Sonia Magar, age 46, of Idabel, OK passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Idabel. She was born on April 21, 1969 in Paris, TX. Sonia worked at the Roadrunner Convenience Store for several years. She enjoyed going to the lake, tubing and camping. She like taking care of her yard and flowers. Sonia loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, J.E. and Margaret Beavers and paternal grandparents, Lester and Fannie Magar. Sonia is survived by her father and step-mother, James L. V. Magar and Bonita of Hugo, OK; mother, DeWina Beavers of Idabel, OK; sons and daughters-in-law, Chase Oliver and Marie of Corinth, TX, Chance Farley and Carissa Fogg, and Cutter Hendricks, all of Idabel, OK; daughters and son-in-law, Celeste Oliver and Brett Billy of Idabel, OK and Curstin Elizabeth of Haworth, OK; husband, Danny Mixon; brothers, Jim Magar and Jay Magar, both of Hugo, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Kenny Pate of Haworth, OK; grandchildren, Cadynce Oliver, Casyn Billy, Cashys Billy, and Kyree Billy; special friends, Lisa Jones of Bowie, TX and Kelli Brumley of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Family Chapel with Bro. David Flannery officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the funeral home.
