Obituary of Joe Ray Coffman

Joe Ray Coffman, age 45 of the Redland Community, OK went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. He was born on August 21, 1970 in DeQueen, AR, the son of Tresa and Billy Ray Coffman. Joe Ray was a 1988 graduate of Haworth High School. He was well known in the county for his love of baseball as well as being one of the best left handed pitchers from the area. He worked as a welder. Joe Ray loved to deer and turkey hunt and spend time with his children and grandchildren. Joe Ray will be remembered for his charismatic spirit and being a one of a kind. His family and friends are so grateful for all of wonderful memories he provided and he will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Coffman; a brother, Curtis Coffman; maternal grandparents, Ora Lee Gragg and Clyde Gragg; and his paternal grandparents, Jean and Sherman Coffman. Joe Ray is survived by his wife, Brandy Coffman; sons, Tyler Coffman and Tracy Fielder and wife, Crystina; grandchildren, Taylor, Troy and Trey Fielder; loving mother, Tresa Coffman Turnage; step-father, Larry Turnage; a sister, Lacey Burks and husband, Ryan; nephews, Brayden Burks and Crosby Burks; Aunt Laverne Upton and husband, Gary; Uncle Joe Coffman and wife, Scherry; and Aunt Peggy Rogers; special friend, Ree Buckles; several extended family and many many dear friends. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Haworth Assembly of God Church in Haworth, OK. Interment will follow at the Redland Cemetery with Pastor Brent Coffey and Brad Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the funeral home.
